Public Workshop on Community Air Grants Program: On July 15 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a public workshop on Community Air Grant Request for Applications. Topics that will be covered include a project overview, the application process timeline, and application and eligibility requirements. This event will also provide an opportunity for interested parties to ask questions related to the solicitation. The purpose of the Community Air Grants is to provide community-based organizations with logistical and technical assistance to support efforts in improving local air quality. Projects are intended to further the purposes of Assembly Bill (AB) 617 (Garcia, Chapter 136, Statues of 2017) as well as AB 32 (Núñez, Chapter 488, Statues of 2006).
Public Webinar on CARB 2021 Agricultural Equipment Emissions Inventory: On July 15 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a public webinar to discuss the release of the 2021 California Agricultural emissions inventory (AG2021) document. At this event, stakeholders will receive an update on the methodology and data used to develop the AG2021 model, and CARB staff will also present the resulting emissions from this newly developed model. This webinar along with the release of the draft document are intended to allow public comment and review prior to the final release of the inventory in August 2021.
