Aquiesse Case Settles for $5,250.00

A Consumer Products case was settled with Aquiesse on December 30, 2013 for selling and/or supplying non-compliant reed diffuser type air fresheners. These products contributed to 0.2 tons excess Volatile Organic Compounds emissions due to exceeding the 18% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for Air Fresheners: Liquid/pump sprays specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). In addition, the products did not display the date of manufacture. Aquiesse paid $5,250 to settle this case.
