E.J. Harrison & Sons, Inc. Case Settles for $18,500
In January 2008, E. J. Harrison & Sons, Inc. agreed to pay $18,500 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. A fleet audit by the ARB showed that E. J. Harrison & Sons failed to properly smoke test all applicable diesel vehicles in E. J. Harrison & Sons fleet that were subject to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). ARB documented violations as related to the PSIP only. To settle the case, E. J. Harrison & Sons, Inc. agreed to the penalty $18,500 and to comply with the PSI program.
