DYK Automotive LLC Case Settles for $5,500

On September 21, 2016, a case was settled with DYK Automotive LLC for selling/manufacturing Zecol Brake Parts Cleaner NC subject to the VOC limit for the Automotive Brake Cleaner category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 10 percent by weight VOC limit for the category. Excess emissions in this case were approximately 0.18 tons. The company paid $5,500.00 to settle the case.
