Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. Case Settles for $7,500
Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. paid $7,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on November 28, 2016. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. vessel Nomadic Milde failed to operate on compliant fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in 2016. Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. agreed to the $7,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
