Watts Chopping Case Settles for $8,000
Watts Chopping will pay $8,000.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $8,000.00 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in June, 2017.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Watts Chopping failed to maintain specified records as required by the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, Watts Chopping agreed to the $8,000.00 penalty and to comply with TB and other ARB programs.
