Van-G Logistics dba Van-G Trucking, Inc. Case Settles for $6,000
Van-G Logistics dba Van-G Trucking, Inc. will pay $6,000.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: The penalties will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in July 2018.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Van-G Logistics dba Van-G Trucking, Inc. failed to bring one of their trucks into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards and failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP) and the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, Van-G Logistics dba Van-G Trucking, Inc. agreed to the $6,000.00 penalty and to comply with PSIP, TB, and other ARB programs.
