Meeting Summary
In summary, CARB started the meeting with an introduction to the TRIG and covered the purpose of the group and members’ roles. CARB staff went over the current and planned ACF outreach. A brainstorming exercise was conducted by co-chair Chris White, that involved a series of questions such as what worked and what did not work with similar programs. Some of the responses on what worked involved things like clear messaging, videos, and graphics. For what didn’t work, some of the responses included, too many emails, physical mailers, and lengthy bulletins. Next, co-chair Cecile Buncio asked for input from the members on short-term and long-term priorities and results included ideas such as a calendar (50-day) of compliance dates, fact sheets, webinars, and exemptions documents. For long term priorities a fleet calculator was suggested. It was suggested that a calendar of important compliance dates will be a great to have. CARB agreed to create one. A list of vehicle ability would be great to have. CARB informed members that a list is available on the HVIP and ZETI website of available vehicles.
Future Meetings
Members decided that a meeting monthly was a preferred frequency.
Next Steps
- A list of ZEV vehicle availability. CARB informed members that a list exists on the HVIP and ZETI webpages.
- Long term priority is to create a calendar of important compliance dates (50-day calendar)
