The following provides information on submitting statewide regulations to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a revision to the California SIP.
2024 State Implementation Plan Adoption and Submittal of Five California Air Resources Board Regulations
On May 23, 2024, the California Air Resources Board conducted public meeting and adopted as a revision to the California State Implementation Plan and submittal to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency of five previously adopted or amended California Air Resources Board regulations. The action is exclusive to submitting the regulations into the California State Implementation Plan and has no impact on the regulatory language or other aspects of the rulemaking already adopted by the California Air Resources Board.
Submittal of 2018 Amendments to the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection Program and Periodic Smoke Inspection Program and Adoption of the Innovative Clean Transit Regulation into the California SIP
On July 26, 2018, the California Air Resources Board directed staff to submit into the California SIP the Amendments to the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection Program and Periodic Smoke Inspection Program. Also, on December 14, 2018, the California Air Resources Board directed staff to submit into the California SIP the Innovative Clean Transit Regulation.

On October 25, 2018, the California Air Resources Board directed staff to submit into the California SIP Greenhouse Gas Emission Standards for Crude Oil and Natural Gas Facilities.
Submittal of 2013 Amendments to Cargo Tank Vapor Recovery Regulations into the California SIP
On June 28, 2018, the California Air Resources Board directed staff to submit into the California SIP the 2013 Amendments to the Cargo Tank Vapor Recovery Regulations.
