The Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District adopted the Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the 2008 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) (2017 RACT SIP) on May 11, 2017. CARB submitted the 2017 RACT SIP to the U.S. EPA as a revision to the California SIP on August 9, 2017.
