The program is a pilot project that is designed to provide financing opportunities for both heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles and charging or fueling infrastructure. California Air Resources Board (CARB) has partnered with California Energy Commission (CEC) to build on the existing successful relationship with California Pollution Control Financing Authority (CPCFA) in implementing the Truck Loan Assistance Program through their California Capital Access Program. The pilot will allow CARB, CPCFA, CEC, and lenders to learn from borrowers of small business fleets what is needed to make a successful transition to zero-emission and what additional areas of support are required.
