When performing compliance tests on non-OBD vehicles, a credentialed tester must conduct a visual inspection using the Vehicle Emissions Control Equipment Form available in the link below. Prior to performing the visual inspection, review the instructions in the second link below on how to properly fill out the inspection form. Also, please note that the non-OBD vehicle compliance test also requires the performance of a smoke opacity test using a SAE J1667-compatible smoke meter.
