CARB is interested in seeking community input early on and throughout the rulemaking process. CARB staff generally hold workgroup meetings, workshops, and participate in small group meetings with interested stakeholders to collect data and to develop the regulation. CARB staff encourages communities to participate in these meetings as well as meet early on with the regulatory staff to help CARB understand community concerns related to air toxics sources in their neighborhood.
