How to Select a Safe and Effective Portable Air Cleaner
- Check the room size rating (in square feet of floor area) for the air cleaner, and use the right sized unit for your home.
- Install the unit(s) in the room(s) where you spend most of your time or where air cleaning is needed most.
- Place the unit away from doors, windows, and foot traffic, but not next to walls or corners. That way air may easily reach the air cleaner and it can clean all the room air well.
