Oscar Guerrero Trucking, Inc. Case Settles for $21,100
Oscar Guerrero Trucking, Inc. will pay $21,100.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $21,100.00.00 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality This settlement was reached in September 2017.
An investigation by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) showed that Oscar Guerrero Trucking, Inc. failed to bring six of their heavy-duty diesel vehicles into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards and failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. CARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation and the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle the case, Oscar Guerrero Trucking, Inc. agreed to the $21,100.00 penalty and to comply with TB, PSIP, and other ARB programs.
