Research Summary:
This project will use mixed methods to assess the processes that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Research Program (Program) uses to develop and implement research projects that address environmental injustices. This qualitative assessment will help the Program better understand if the changes made in the past few years are having their intended short-term outcomes and collect feedback on how the Program can best implement the portion of the Program's research that provides data and informs action to address environmental injustices. Results from this project will inform the development of CARB's Equity Framework for Research.
