Marc Anthony Cosmetics Ltd. Settles for $49,800

In May 2019, Marc Anthony Cosmetics, Ltd. (Marc Anthony) in Ontario, Canada, sold, supplied, and/or offered for sale non-compliant Hair Styling: aerosol/pump spray products in California which contained concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations section 94509(a). These products were manufactured and sold into California which resulted in 3.17 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. To come into compliance, Marc Anthony has modified the hair styling product to be in compliance with the definitions and VOC limits of the Consumer Products Regulations.
