Submitted Comment Name Gregory Cane Affiliation California Hydrogen Car Owners Association Subject Hydrogen Refueling Stations Message At the August 23, 2023 hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Transitioning to a Zero-Emission Energy Future, Chairman Newman said, California has, “made a promise to the industry and to the people who bought these [hydrogen] cars that we would commit to building out this platform and ensuring its viability as a really meaningful component of our decarbonization strategy, and I think it is fully reasonable to doubt the integrity of that promise at this point.” As a State, we keep missing our hydrogen refueling station (HRS) targets.
