My biggest take-away from the meeting was in relation to those opposed to hydrogen related development. Ignorance about hydrogen fuel production and delivery combined with fear of change seemed to be their biggest motivations. Another big issue is their passionate focus on problems, whether real or imagined, combined with the surprising ability to completely overlook the need for solutions. For anyone that believes society needs to quickly move away from fossil fuels, willingness to accept change and invest in alternatives is imperative. There also must be an understanding that all energy options have some varying degree of inherent risk. Analysis paralysis is unacceptable. Doing nothing CANNOT BE AN OPTION. Hydrogen can be a big part of the elimination of our dependence on fossil fuels, but people must also understand that it is not a singular solution. Hydrogen is only part of what must be a multi-faceted effort. I mention these things because, although they may be somewhat outside the scope of your report, I feel it is critical to make sure the public has an informed perspective on the challenges society faces regarding fossil fuels and why hydrogen MUST be considered as a vital part of our energy future. Thanks again for your time invested in this effort! File Upload (i.e., Attachments): N/A N/A
