EVR Trucking, Incorporated Case Settles for $7,000
EVR Trucking, Incorporated (EVR Trucking) will pay $7,000 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $3,500 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; and $3,500 will go to the Peralta Colleges Foundation to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program. This settlement was reached in April, 2017.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that EVR Trucking failed to bring three of their diesel-powered trucks into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, EVR Trucking agreed to the $7,000 penalty and to comply with PSIP, TB, and other ARB programs.
