The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has developed new reporting tools for landfill owners or operators subject to the Landfill Methane Regulation (LMR). These report templates are voluntary and provided to simplify compliance and to assist landfill owners/operators to ensure accurate and complete information is submitted annually to CARB. The new templates and a user guide are available on CARB's Landfill Methane Regulation Reporting page.
CARB Training Sessions for the Landfill Methane Regulation
CARB will offer three remote training sessions to introduce the report templates. At the trainings, staff will provide an overview of the LMR reporting requirements, demonstrate how to use the new templates, and answer any questions about the reporting process or requirements.
