Wipe New, LLC Case Settles for $49,500

Wipe New, LLC manufactured and offered for sale in California three rubber/vinyl protectants and a metal polish in violation of ARB’s Consumer Product Regulations.  These products exceeded the volatile organic compound (VOC) content limits for the applicable Rubber/Vinyl Protectant: non aerosol (3%) and Metal Polish or Cleanser: non aerosol (3%) categories and resulted in 2.7 tons of excess VOC emissions. Wipe New, LLC reformulated their products to comply with the Consumer Product Regulations.  The case was settled on March 8, 2017, for $49,500.00.
