SK Energy Americas Case Settles for $393,000

SK Energy Americas will pay $393,000 in penalties for violating air quality regulations. SK Energy Americas generated deficits in the LCFS program by importing and trading petroleum fuels.  At the close of 2014 the company had 2,015 deficits that it failed to match with credits in its annual report.  After a Notice of Violation, SK Energy promptly purchased and retired the necessary credits.
