At a public meeting held on December 6 - 7, 2012, the California Air Resources Board approved the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District 2012 Maintenance Plan and Redesignation Request for the 1997 8-Hour National Ozone Standard for submittal to the U.S. EPA as a SIP revision.
