D.P.L. Enterprises, Inc., dba AIR-CARE, Settles For $3,000
In October 2025, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reached a settlement with D.P.L Enterprises, Inc., dba AIR-CARE (AIR-CARE), with its principal location in Las Vegas, Nevada for the violation of the Regulation for Limiting Ozone Emissions From Indoor Air Cleaning Devices (Indoor ACD Regulation), as codified in the California Code of Regulations, title 17, section 94800 et seq.
A CARB staff investigation revealed that AIR-CARE sold, supplied, offered for sale, or introduced into commerce in the State of California in-duct air cleaners that did not have the required CARB certification (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 17, § 94804). To settle the case, AIR-CARE agreed to the penalty of $3,000 for the violation. The amount will be deposited into CARB’s Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality.
AIR-CARE cooperated fully with CARB to resolve this matter. To come into compliance, AIR-CARE is no longer offering the uncertified indoor air cleaning devices for sale in California.
