MVP Group International Case Settles for $16,140

On February 27, 2017, a Consumer Products case, CP15-09-01, was settled with MVP Group International, Inc. for manufacturing, supplying or selling in California the Florasense Catalytic Fragrance Lamp Oil and Everyday Reflections Lavender Fields Diffuser products that are subject to the Air Freshener: Liquid/Pump Spray category.  These products contained concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) exceeding the 18 percent by weight VOC limits for the category.  The excess VOC emissions based on the sales of these products between 2011 and 2014 were approximately 0.507 tons.  In addition, both products failed to display the date of manufacture as specified in the Title 17, CCR, section 94512(b).  MVP Group International paid $16,140 to settle the case.
