$25,000 in Fines Paid by ExxonMobil

Routine sampling at the ExxonMobil refinery in Torrance on October 8, 2003, revealed that they were selling regular grade gasoline with an aromatic hydrocarbon content exceeding their redictive model specification. The case has been settled for $25,000.
