The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in this virtual workshop on May 17, 2022 at 9:00am‑12:00pm.
CARB will be hosting a technology‑focused, virtual workshop to discuss the Draft Technology Assessment: Non-Truck Transport Refrigeration Units (TRU) – Trailer TRUs, Domestic Shipping Container TRUs, Railcar TRUs, and TRU Generator Sets (Draft Technology Assessment).
The Draft Technology Assessment evaluates the current and projected development of zero-emission technologies for non-truck TRUs and will help support efforts to meet CARB’s long-term air quality and climate change goals.
The purpose of the technology-focused workshop is to discuss the framework for the Draft Technology Assessment, initial draft text, and solicit input from operators and original equipment manufacturers. This includes input on zero-emission technologies, costs, as well as other related technical information.
