$2,500 in Fines Paid by Bonfi Natural Company

From 2003 to 2005, units of Wet-N-Wavy Super Spritz were sold into California that exceeded the VOC state standard of 55 percent by weight for hairsprays. This product was found at Happy Rootz Beauty Supply in Barstow, California. The case was settled by the Consumer Products Enforcement staff on May 22, 2006 for $2,500 in penalties.
