Danell Bros. Inc. Case Settles for $1,500

Danell Bros. Inc. will pay $1,500.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $1,500.00 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in August, 2017.

An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Danell Bros. Inc. failed to bring two of their diesel engines into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards and failed to properly report annual mileage on vehicles utilizing the agricultural provision. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, Danell Bros. Inc. agreed to the $1,500.00 penalty and to comply with TB, and other ARB programs.
