California Box Company II Case Settles for $6,000
California Box Company II will pay $6,000.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $6,000 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in July, 2017.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that California Box Company II failed to bring two of their vehicles into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, California Box Company II agreed to the $6,000.00 penalty and to comply with TB and other ARB programs.
