Cal Pro Logistics, Inc. Case Settles for $3,600
Cal Pro Logistics, Inc. will pay $3,600.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $1,800.00 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $1,800.00 will go to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District to fund the School Bus Retrofit Project to retrofit school buses throughout California with diesel emission control strategies. This settlement was reached in February, 2017.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Cal Pro Logistics, Inc. failed to bring two of their vehicles into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, Cal Pro Logistics, Inc. agreed to the $3,600.00 penalty and to comply with TB, Periodic Smoke Inspection Program, Transport Refrigeration Unit measure, and other ARB programs.
