$3,000 in Fines Paid by Klasse USA

On June 17, 2003, Enforcement Division staff obtained samples of Klasse Vinyl, Leather, Rubber, and Plastic Cleaner Protectant that exceeded the 3 percent VOC limit for rubber and vinyl protectants. Klasse USA was identified as the importer of this product and provided sales records that indicated containers of product were sold in California after the January 1, 2003 effective date. The case with Klasse USA was settled on May 3, 2006 with a $3,000 payment.
