Public Workshop on Drive Forward Light-Duty Vehicle Program: On June 22 via remote access,  CARB will host a public workshop to solicit input from community members regarding the development of California’s Drive-Forward light-duty vehicle program for the 2030s and beyond. The workshop will seek input on the following topics: (1) Light- and Medium-Duty Criteria Air Pollutant Standards, (2) Light-Duty Greenhouse Gas Standards, (3) Zero-Emission Vehicle Certification, (4) Zero-Emission Vehicle Regulation Stringency, and (5) Window Sticker Requirements.

SB 905 Pre‑Rulemaking Workshop: On June 23 via remote access, CARB staff will host the SB 905 Pre‑Rulemaking Workshop focused on the initial concepts for regulations under the Carbon Capture, Removals, Utilization, and Storage Program, authorized by Senate Bill 905. The session will include: (1) A Presentation of the Concepts Document Outlining Potential Regulatory Frameworks, (2) An Overview of the Anticipated Regulatory Timeline for Establishing the Program, (3) A Summary of Feedback Received, (4) A CEQA Scoping Meeting, and (5) An Opportunity for the Public to Provide Additional Feedback.

Board Meeting: On June 25-26 in Sacramento and via remote access, the Board will convene to hear the following agenda items: (1)  Proposed Fiscal Year 2025-26 and Fiscal Year 2026-27 Funding Plan for the Air Quality Improvement Program, and (2) Community Air Protection (AB 617) Consultation Group Charter, Appointment of Members to the Consultation Group, and Delegation to the Executive Officer to Appoint Members to Fill Any Vacancies During Terms.
