FINAL APPROVAL / OAL ACTION
On December 8, 1999, the OAL approved all
of the proposed regulatory sections with the exception of
Section 2443.3. In response to the OAL's concerns, the ARB
proposed further modifications, and by a notice released December
23,1999, made them available for a public comment period ending January
17, 2000. The ARB adopted the final regulation order for
Section 2443.3 on February 17, 2000, and submitted it to the OAL
February 18, 2000. On April 3, 2000, the OAL rejected the
section as submitted. ARB proposed further modifications, and by a
notice released April 12, 2000, made them available for a
public comment period ending May 1, 2000. The ARB adopted the final
regulation order for Section 2443.3
on June 14, 2000, and submitted it to the OAL June 15,
2000. The OAL approved the final regulation package on
July 10, 2000 and filed it with the Secretary of State the
same day. The regulation will become effective on
August 9, 2000.
