Will hold hearing in June 1999 to remove the wintertime oxygenate requirement in Lake Tahoe and to require pump labeling for MTBE
- Workshop scheduled for May 6, 1999
- Meetings being held with refiners to supply MTBE free gasoline to Lake Tahoe area
  - Tosco and Chevron have made commitments
- Meetings being held with marketing associations, retail marketers, and others
