Energy Efficiency and Co-Benefits Assessment for Large Industrial Sources - Regulatory Activities

Background

On July 22, 2010, the ARB approved the Regulation for Energy Efficiency and Co-Benefits Assessment of Large Industrial Facilities.  This regulation requires the largest industrial facilities in California to conduct a one-time energy efficiency assessment of sources of greenhouse gases to determine the potential emissions reduction opportunities, including those for criteria pollutants and toxic air contaminants.  This site is dedicated to the development and implementation of that regulation.
