99-8-1 | Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Proposed Amendments
to the California Consumer Products Regulation The Air Resources Board (ARB) will propose amendments to the California Consumer Products Regulation. The amendments would add volatile organic compound (VOC) limits for two additional consumer products categories, and further reduce the allowable VOC content for 15 currently regulated categories. The amendments would also: (1) consolidate and expand the reporting requirements for perchloroethylene and methylene chloride; (2) delete outdated reporting requirements for hairsprays; (3) modify the Table of Standards to improve its clarity; and (4) modify certain definitions in the regulation. |
99-8-2 | Public Meeting to Consider Approval of the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District's California
Clean Air Act Triennial Progress Report and Plan Revision for 1995-1997 The California Clean Air Act requires that districts submit to the ARB a triennial progress report that includes information on air quality improvements and the expected and revised emissions reductions for each district measure scheduled for adoption in the previous three year period. The ARB staff will present their findings with respect to the triennial progress report and plan revision submitted by the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District and recommend a conditional approval by the Board. |
99-8-3 | Public Hearing to Consider Amendments to the Air Toxics
Hot Spots Fee Regulation for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 The ARB will consider amendments to the Air Toxics Hot Spots Fee Regulation for Fiscal Year 1999-2000. The Fee Regulation recovers the State's and the air pollution control and air quality management districts' costs to implement the Air Toxics Hot Spots Information and Assessment Act. The Fee Regulation allocates the State's costs among the air districts and establishes facility fees for five districts that have requested the ARB to adopt their facility fee schedules. |
99-8-4 | Public Meeting to Consider a Status Report on the Air Resources Board's Heavy-Duty Vehicle Smoke Inspection
Program In December 1997, the Air Resources Board adopted updated regulations governing the Board's Heavy-Duty Vehicle Smoke Inspection Program. The program, in its current form, consists of two elements: random roadside inspections and periodic fleet inspections. These two elements have been enforced since June 1 and July 1, 1998, respectively. Staff will present the current status of the program. |
