Year 2000-2001 The draft report, "Planned Air Pollution Research: Fiscal Year 2000-2001" to be presented for approval, provides the plan for the Air Resources Board's (ARB) extramural research program for Fiscal Year 2000-2001. The proposed projects contained in the draft report will be brought to the Board later as research proposals for Board approval. |
00-7-2 | Public Meeting to Present Information on ARB's Statewide Toxics and Community Health Programs Staff will provide an overview of ARB's statewide toxics and community health programs. The presentation will focus on ARB's comprehensive efforts to assess and reduce public health risk from air toxics. |

Implementation of the California Phase 3 Reformulated Gasoline (CaRFG3) Regulations Pursuant to ARB Board Resolution 99-39, at the public hearing on December 9, 1999, to approve the CaRFG3 regulations, the ARB Board directed staff to provide a semiannual report on the status of the implementation of the CaRFG3 regulations. |
00-7-4 | Public Hearing to Consider the Adoption of Proposed Amendments to the
Asbestos Airborne Toxic Control Measure - Asbestos-Containing Serpentine Staff is proposing to amend the existing ATCM to: 1) prohibit the use of serpentine on unpaved roads and other surfaces; 2) expand the applicability of the regulation to include ultramafic rock, and; 3) lower the allowable asbestos content for surfacing materials from 5 percent to 0.25 percent. |

WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE BOARD
Although no formal Board action may be taken, the Board is allowing an opportunity to interested members of the
public to address the Board on items of interest that are within the Board's jurisdiction, but that do not specifically
appear on the agenda. Each person will be allowed a maximum of five minutes to ensure that everyone has a chance
to speak.
THOSE ITEMS ABOVE WHICH ARE NOT COMPLETED ON JULY 20 WILL BE HEARD BEGINNING AT 8:30 A.M. ON JULY 21.
THE AGENDA ITEMS LISTED ABOVE MAY BE CONSIDERED IN A DIFFERENT ORDER AT THE BOARD MEETING.
