Contact
State programs offer grant funding to help truck owners afford a zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) and meet upcoming state emissions requirements. This means you do not have to pay that money back.
You may be eligible for the following programs:
- Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP)
- Innovative Small e-Fleet Pilot (ISeF)
- Carl Moyer
- Voucher Incentive Program
- Volkswagen Mitigation Trust
Through the HVIP program you can receive up to $240,000 towards a fuel cell electric truck or up to $120,000 towards a battery-electric truck. Additional funding is also available to qualifying fleets, including, but not limited to, small fleets or fleets located in disadvantaged communities. The Carl Moyer Program offers up to $410,000 to replace your diesel truck with a battery-electric truck or up to $160,000 if you choose a natural-gas powered truck. In addition, the Truck Loan Assistance Program can offer a low interest loan to help finance the remaining cost of the truck.
Truck owners statewide are already taking advantage of these programs. The HVIP program has already provided funding for over 9,000 cleaner trucks statewide.
Some of these programs require that you scrap your old truck and be in compliance with State requirements.
