As required by California Health and Safety Code §40920.8, CARB has established this statewide Technology Clearinghouse (database) of best available control technology (BACT), best available control technology for toxics (T-BACT), and best available retrofit control technology (BARCT) for stationary sources. The Technology Clearinghouse also contains area-wide and mobile source rules, and airborne toxic control measures, or ATCMs, to support statutorily required assessments of existing and available emissions reduction measures (California Health and Safety Code §44391.2(b)(4)).
