SACRAMENTO -- The California Air Resources Board (ARB) will meet in San Diego at:

The Board will consider the following items:
- precertifying commonly used equipment and processes to streamline business permitting
- removing acetone from California's air toxics hot spots list
- approving the Annual Report to the Legislature on Funding Sources of California s Air Pollution Control Districts with Annual Budgets Exceeding One Million Dollars which includes the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District
- update on the status of the California Cleaner Burning Gasoline program
Directions: 1600 Pacific Highway is west of I-5, just south of San Diego International Airport, between Grape and Ash streets (Thomas Bros. Guide page 60, B-6 or page 65, B-1).
CARB's mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare, and ecological resources through effective reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering effects on the economy. The CARB oversees all air pollution control efforts in California to attain and maintain health based air quality standards.
