SACRAMENTO – "The breadth and comprehensiveness of the HEI work provides strong scientific support for continuing efforts to address vehicle pollution here in California and across the country," said ARB Chairman Mary D. Nichols. "When nearly half of the nation's population is being exposed to unhealthy levels of these pollutants, it's clearly time for all of us to work together to bring cleaner air to our communities."
The full report of HEI Traffic Panel is available at health effects institute.
