Question: Why are there only two OBD test devices available for Clean Truck Check?
Answer: Currently there are only two CARB-verified on-board diagnostic (OBD) test devices available. We are in the process of collaborating with several device vendors to expand the number of devices that can be used for the Clean Truck Check. However, it is ultimately up to the vendors to work with us to ensure that their devices meet the vendor specifications and requirements for data collection, transmission, and security. We are optimistic that more device options from various vendors will become available in the near future.
