The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) hosted the last in a series of three public workgroup meetings on solicitations for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 Planning and Capacity Building, Clean Mobility in Schools (CMIS), and Sustainable Transportation Equity Project (STEP) funds. The third meeting will focus on technical assistance, the scoring and funding process, project examples, and the public comment period. The meeting agenda, presentation, and any handouts will also be posted to the Low Carbon Transportation Investments and Air Quality Improvement Program and STEP webpages and here ahead of the meeting.

CARB is currently accepting public comments on the Draft Requirements and Criteria for Planning and Capacity Building, CMIS, and STEP until March 31, 2023. The requirements, criteria, and other information outlined in the draft document are subject to change at CARB’s discretion and pending stakeholder comments.

The public comment period began on February 28, 2023. Comments must be submitted by March 31, 2023. Interested members of the public may present comments orally during Work Group Meeting #3 on March 9, 2023 and may submit written comments via step@arb.ca.gov or a Google Forms survey.
