The California Air Resources Board (CARB) Research Program has started a public process to develop a 5-Year Strategic Research Plan (Plan). The Plan guides CARB’s selection of annual research projects that are designed to inform CARB actions on clear air, climate change, and public health.
CARB is collaborating with communities through a series of roundtable meetings designed to help incorporate environmental justice into future research on air quality, climate change, health, and sustainable communities. Please join us to share your research needs and priorities in small group discussions. All meetings are open to the public and we encourage Tribes, communities, academics, organizations, and others to join the roundtables. Outcomes from the meeting will help shape potential research projects for the 2025-2030 time period.
